![]() ![]() each hammer cast = one less teleport you can do in the same time. one full minute of teleporting nets you 16 extra teleport casts over that period if you have the spirit shield/fcr ring but you lose that 16 extra teleport advantage every time you have to cast more. It takes 1 more hammer cast for venom lords, it takes 1 more cast for the 125fcr to kill other mobs as well. (Just for perspective the 75fcr could cast teleport 3x in the time it takes for you to finish killing big D. it take 5 more hammer casts on a hammerdin with 125fcr and spirit to kill diablo in /players 8 which is 1.1 seconds slower than a paladin with 75fcr using hoz and a nagel ring. have a look at the thread i posted about this after doing a bit of testing. ![]() im not saying you should change to hoz or even that its better (there are other reasons to take spirit such as FHR) but if i can use 75fcr, have more DPS and similar run times while also having much more MF than a spirit build then im fine with that each hammer cast extra it takes to kill something means the pally with hoz has been able to teleport once in that same time. Venom lords need an extra cast to kill, most rare spawns are the same. Thats also true of the random spawns in the map. For example on players 1 diablo takes 6 hammers to kill with spirit/125fcr or 5 hammer hits with hoz. But im pretty confident if your running CS, then a 125fcr hammerdin with spirit is going to be quite a bit slower than a 75fcr pally with hoz. the only thing that is hard to work out is whether the faster tele could make up for having to cast so many more hammers to kill things. 75fcr with hoz actually has a faster clear speed than a hammerdin with spirit and 125fcr spirit.
